His Highness King AbdulAziz – may Allah have mercy on him – had ratified the Decision of the Shura Council, which provided for exemption to all agricultural implements from customs duties, and development of agricultural movement in Saudi Arabia by importing some agricultural machinery and equipment in 1351 H to be distributed by the Ministry of Finance among farmers at affordable prices.

Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) is a government corporation that operates desalinization plants and power stations in Saudi Arabia. It is the second largest electrical provider in the country. It is the largest desalinating sea water corporation in the world, responsible for 20% of worldwide desalinated water production. SWCC has 30 plants, 14 transmission systems, and 4000 km of pipelines. SWCC workforce is 10,000+ employees and its assets value is 20+ B $.
